About Us

Welcome to Angel Daycare Centre. We are an established child care facility, licensed since 2002. Our large, bright and well-maintained centre is conveniently located in the heart of beautiful Agassiz, BC.

Angel Daycare Centre teachers are committed to the happiness, safety, education, and well being of your child.

We provide a nurturing environment that cultivates self-confidence. Our teachers are dedicated to developing your child's learning potential and are sensitive to your child's individual needs.

All staff members are trained in First Aid, CPR, infectious disease control, injury prevention, and child abuse guidance. Each member undergoes a criminal background check, as well as, reference checks and an in-depth screening interview.

Additional training in curriculum, child development, classroom arrangement, management, age appropriate activities, nutrition, field trip planning, arts and crafts, and games provides our staff with the skills needed to create a quality learning environment. Our staff is encouraged to further their education through childcare programs and are given various opportunities to attend professional training seminars and conferences.

We pride ourselves in employing only the best teachers and staff to care for your child. All staff members are trained on appropriate curricula for your child at every level of their development.

Paula Morrison - Owner/Coordinator

'Miss Paula' ~ Certified Early Childhood Educator

The owner, Paula Morrison is a certified Early Childhood Educator. Having graduated the ECE program with honors, she is passionate about her career in working with children.

Paula has been the director of Angel Daycare Centre since 2002. During that time she has attended childcare training, workshops, seminars and conferences to continually enhance her knowledge and skills. These seminars and conferences provide professional education on child development, nutrition, health and safety, physical fitness, educational methods, classroom management, age-appropriate curriculum, assessment, and many other pertinent topics.

Paula followed her childhood dream when she opened Angel Daycare Centre. Coming from a large family of eleven siblings, and many nieces and nephews, Paula brings with her a wealth of experience in the child care field. Her positive energy and enthusiasm radiate throughout the centre.

During her years working with children, Paula has fostered great relationships with the children and families at Angel Daycare Centre. Now, over 20 years later, she is still loving every aspect of owning and operating her child care centre.

Paula enjoys building relationships not only with the children but also with the staff and parents. She welcomes parent's feedback and suggestions. Please feel free to contact her at anytime.
